This privacy policy explains how 0bla.com collects, uses and protects data as part of its Zero-Trace URL shortening service. By design, 0bla drastically minimizes data collection and prioritizes user and visitor anonymity.
2. Data Collected
0bla does not collect any identifiable personal data from link visitors.
Anonymized technical data: country (approximation), device type, browser.
Account data (if registered): email address, billing information (via secure third-party provider).
3. No Tracking
No third-party cookies. No advertising trackers. No fingerprinting. No data resale or sharing. Statistics are aggregated and anonymized, used only to provide useful information to users.
4. Storage and Security
Data hosted in Switzerland at Infomaniak.
Technical measures: HTTPS (TLS), HSTS, CSP with nonce, Argon2ID hashing, IPs not stored in plain text (HMAC with rotating salt).
5. Purpose of Processing
Collected data is used exclusively for: providing the URL shortening service, generating anonymized statistics, ensuring security and abuse prevention, managing user accounts and billing.
6. Retention Period
Guest: automatic deletion (5 minutes).
Free: 30 days. Pro: 1 year. Business / Enterprise: unlimited retention.
Account data is retained as long as the account is active.
7. Data Sharing
No personal data is sold or shared with third parties. Only strictly necessary providers are involved: hosting (Infomaniak), payment (secure provider). Subject to strict confidentiality obligations.
8. User Rights
Under GDPR: right of access, rectification, deletion, opposition.
9. Cookies
0bla only uses strictly necessary cookies for service operation (PHP server sessions). No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
10. Security and Abuse
